Why Walgreens is growing its omnichannel efforts

Walgreens partnered with DoorDash this summer to launch a 30-minute delivery service of nonprescription items in 16 US markets, the latest move in the pharmacy retailer's ongoing effort to boost omnichannel options, Walgreens executive Stefanie Kruse said. Other efforts started before and during the pandemic have ramped up, including telehealth options, as well as curbside and drive-thru pickup programs.
