Costco will increase its hourly minimum wage by $1 to $16, a move that will give about 20% of the retailer's more than 160,000 hourly employees a raise. Signet, the parent of jewelry retailers including Jared, Zales, Kay and Piercing Pagoda, said it would raise its starting pay to $15 per hour, calling it a further bonus for employees who have performed well during the pandemic.
