H&M said it will shutter 250 stores, or 5% of its global store base, in 2021 following the closure of 50 locations this year. Most of the closures will come in the US and Europe, and the fast-fashion retailer plans to open new locations in less-mature markets, including India, Japan and Russia, CEO Helena Helmersson said.
