Wisconsin Economic Development and Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin have awarded a $650,000 grant to the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for Dairy Research to develop dairy drinks that don't need to be refrigerated. The center is developing aseptic technology to kill bacteria and contaminants that can sour milk if not refrigerated.
