Researchers found that only 12% of 138 surveyed primary care physicians gave correct answers to all early peanut introduction-related questions. The findings, presented at the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology annual meeting, also showed that only 18% of the 67% who said they were confident in applying the NIH's early peanut introduction recommendations correctly answered all scenarios.
