A study of obesity in children with spina bifida led by University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin researchers has been awarded a $3.6 million grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Researchers will investigate ways to better determine body fat in an effort to prevent obesity.
