Researchers have tested a Homo sapiens skull found in a cave in Greece and say it is at least 210,000 years old, making it potentially the oldest Homo sapiens fossil found in Europe. "Multiple Homo sapiens populations dispersed out of Africa starting much earlier, and reaching much farther into Europe, than previously thought," says study leader Katerina Harvati.
