A black-footed ferret born at a Fish and Wildlife Service breeding facility in Fort Collins, Colo., is a clone of another ferret whose remains were frozen after she died in 1988. Scientists hope the feisty baby ferret and future clones will eventually reproduce young of their own and improve the endangered species' genetic diversity.
