Rep. Roger Williams, R-Texas, introduced legislation to set aside $10 billion to help states expand their broadband programs, which they could use to extend the reach of telehealth platforms to underserved communities. Williams said the Eliminate the Digital Divide Act would allow states to tap into the fund to help people who lack online access to services.
