The Federal Communications Commission appears to be ending the final days of its Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Phase 1 reverse auction as bidding activity has slowed markedly in the last few days. Service providers are bidding for a pot of up to $16 billion for rural broadband funds under a weighting system that tilts toward faster services with the latest latencies.
