Culinary students at a high school in Maine are using the $1,300 in tips they saved for a senior trip to provide meals for the elderly and disabled, as well as first responders, during the pandemic. The students, who work in a restaurant in the Lewiston Regional Technical Center, had planned a trip that included shopping and a fancy dinner but decided to use the money for make 500 meals for others.
