An Illinois high school is using workforce-ready concepts to increase math options for students, says Principal Matt Goldman, who notes the benefit of a recently hired business and computer teacher who also is certified to teach math. The transitional math approach will be new this fall and the district will offer 10 different math options, though not all will be available each year.
