Federal grant to help RWJBarnabas Health meet need for nurses

A $800,000 federal grant is going to RWJBarnabas Health for apprenticeships, tuition reimbursement and other programs to reduce shortages of certified and registered nurses and other health care professionals. "The entire nation has a shortage of RNs, there's always a need for nurses," said Lourdes Valdes, director of workforce development and grants at RWJBarnabas.
