$2.36B disaster-relief allocation to buoy Fla. farmers

Florida citrus producers expect to receive $760 million of a $2.36 billion allocation the state will receive from the USDA thanks to disaster-relief measures included in a federal spending bill passed on Friday. Adam Putnam, Florida's commissioner of agriculture, had estimated the state's agricultural damage from Hurricane Irma at $2.5 billion.
