The New York State Department of Labor has updated guidance on COVID-19 leave, allowing employees to become eligible for multiple instances of leave as additional positive diagnoses are received after an initial case. The update also states that employees can receive extended leave when they continue to test positive for COVID-19 and that employers must pay those workers at normal rates under certain circumstances.
