OSHA issued a letter last fall containing warnings about the safety hazards of personal headphones on job sites. "The key takeaway from the letter is that employers must address employee use of headphones to listen to music on the worksite, even if there is not a specific OSHA standard prohibiting it," said Trever Neuroth, an attorney at Jackson Lewis PC.
