Insurers are winning the majority of the business-interruption lawsuits filed during the coronavirus pandemic, according to the the University of Pennsylvania's Carey Law School. Legal experts say the courts tend to rule that business interruption insurance only covers physical damage to properties, which excludes most pandemic-related shutdowns.
