Michigan OSHA's new silica exposure program will lead to inspections at jobsites where respirable crystalline silica exposures are likely, and the agency hopes to complete 88 such inspections in 12 months. Michigan OSHA will also help employers monitor, identify and respond to silica hazards through consultative audits.
