Coronavirus-related personal injury litigation against businesses accounts for about 185 of the 3,727 lawsuits stemming from the pandemic since March, according to an American Association for Justice data analysis. Meanwhile, analytics firm Praedicat said the total of coronavirus-related complaints against corporations surpassed 200 as of mid-July, and lawyers and business groups say such personal injury lawsuits are likely to increase.
