The death rate of the COVID-19 coronavirus is currently around 3.4% -- higher than seasonal flu -- but that number could change as new cases continue to be reported, says World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. The WHO also says that panic buying and market manipulation are depriving health workers of the equipment they need to fight the virus, which has infected more than 93,000 people worldwide.
