Zoll Medical has released the Zoll µCor heart failure and arrhythmia management system for use in patients with heart failure and fluid management problems. The Asahi Kasei subsidiary also recorded the first patient prescription for the system, a patch-based, wireless system that can be worn 24 hours daily and monitors pulmonary fluid levels, among other patient data, using radiofrequency technology.
