A protein barcoding system being developed by Manifold Bio would enable multiple drug candidates to be tested in the same animal, and would give scientists a way to study multiple drug properties in the same experiment, co-founder Gleb Kuznetsov says. "We can take a large mix of proteins, inject them into an animal and look at a ton of different properties all in one assay, generative a massive amount of data that would previously take hundreds to thousands of animals," co-founder Pierce Ogden said.
