All of Us Research Program leaders held consultations with Native American and Alaska Native tribal leaders and agreed to educate researchers on the culturally appropriate use of data and learn more about native peoples' health priorities. Study leaders agreed not to recruit participants on tribal lands or disclose tribal affiliation without the tribe's permission and will withhold participants' data and samples from researchers for an additional six months to give participants time to learn about the Tribal Consultation and decide whether to continue.
