Four airports in the San Francisco Bay area have received millions of dollars in funding from the federal Airport Improvement Program. San Francisco International Airport will receive more than $14.6 million for runway reconstruction; Oakland International Airport has been awarded approximately $3.5 million for pavement repairs; Buchanan Field Airport will receive $3.78 million for runway and lighting improvements and Livermore Municipal Airport has been awarded $291,397 for taxiway reconstruction.
