Educators should take steps to foster a school culture that supports teen development, according to a consensus report from the Alliance for Excellent Education that was released last week at the International Mind, Brain, and Education Society research conference. The report suggests that educators teach students to develop healthy relationships and help students recognize the benefits of taking "positive risks," such as taking on difficult projects.
