Colleges seek to help students graduate on time

Institutions, such as the University of Washington and the University of Texas at Austin, are implementing strategies such as adding more advisers and expanding high-demand courses to help students graduate on time. Data show that, while 86% of incoming freshmen nationally believe they will graduate in four years, current four-year graduation rates stand at 41% at public universities and 61% at private four-year universities.
