About 300 teachers and administrators in a North Carolina school district participated in online professional development sessions each day for seven weeks after schools closed in the spring, according to district data. The PD sessions were led by teachers who shared what they learned in previous education-technology camps to help peers learn how to keep students engaged online and manage the stress of remote schooling.
