About 100 education advocacy groups wrote a letter Thursday asking US Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker to reconsider a decision that does away with the prior administration's school discipline guidance. The groups are asking that DeVos and Whitaker ensure their departments uphold civil rights laws and "protect all students from discrimination."
