A lawsuit alleges that the Inspiring Youth Program at the District of Columbia Jail has only given students worksheets since March 2020 and has failed to provide students with instruction via interaction with teachers during the coronavirus pandemic. Forty students are participating in the program, which is operated by D.C. Public Schools.
