Anxious students receive support in uncertain times

As schools nationwide close and brace for prolonged shutdowns or the cancellation of their school year entirely, the sudden change to daily life can fuel anxiety and cause students -- and their families -- to feel isolated. Crittenton Services of Greater Washington, in the D.C. area, is one program for female students who are at risk and from low-income families that is focused on supporting girls with regular phone calls, emails and video chats.
