Members of the American School Counselor Association are working to promote diversity, equity and inclusion and curb implicit bias that may affect outcomes for students. An ASCA survey found that 42% of respondents monitor behavior and online communication for racist behavior, and some address racism in classroom lessons and use data to consider student supports.
