NCTA--The Internet & Television Association and the Consumer Technology Association have renewed their agreement regarding energy-saving measures in set-top boxes through 2025, and expanded its requirements starting in 2023. CTA estimates the standards have saved consumers $7 billion and prevented 39 million metric tons of CO2 emissions.
