Almost half of US homes with televisions own 4K sets, but just 55% of the people in those homes have ever viewed 4K content, even though a number of platforms support the new technology, Hub Entertainment Research said in a new report. The firm noted that the amount of 4K content remains limited, a situation similar to that surrounding the introduction of HD technology.
