HHS moves to challenge ruling blocking drug price disclosure in TV ads

HHS has filed a notice of appeal to challenge a federal judge's decision to block the implementation of a Trump administration rule that would have required pharmaceutical firms to disclose the prices of their products in television ads. "If the drug companies are embarrassed by their prices or afraid that the prices will scare patients away, they should lower them," HHS spokeswoman Caitlin Oakley said.
