Socialbakers has released a report that predicts that Facebook and Instagram will continue to dominate the social marketing landscape, noting that advertisers are investing more in Instagram Stories, as the format delivers higher engagement and reach, while engagement on Facebook -- which owns Instagram -- has decreased. Promoted video is now as popular as promoted images on both platforms, and spend on video will continue to rise in 2019, the report predicts.
