IAB Tech Lab aims to bring clarity to confusing ad tech jargon

The Interactive Advertising Bureau Tech Lab has released an OpenData spec for public comment to create a standardized language for ad technology to remove confusion from the marketplace. Mediasmith's David Smith, co-chair of the Tech Lab group that created the spec, said ad buyers must encourage vendors to adopt the standards by withholding investment from those who refuse to comply.
