Employers that mandate temperature checks should use the least invasive method possible, make sure the person checking temperatures is trained and pay employees for the screening time, says attorney John Bagyi. "Employers should ensure the information concerning employees' temperatures is safeguarded as medical information and not shared with anyone who does not have a need to know," Bagyi says.
