Companies recognize the need to welcome LGBTQ employees

Many companies are trying to create a more inclusive work environment, although a Human Rights Campaign report says only a little more than half of gay, lesbian and transgender employees are publicly out. "It's not necessarily how loud the message for diversity and inclusion is at your company, but it's about how consistent that message is," says Amy Philbrook, chief diversity officer for Fidelity Investments.
