The Environmental Protection Agency will give the public at least 30 days to review draft chemical risk evaluations for substances under the Toxic Substances Control Act before sending them to the Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals for peer review, said Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention Assistant Administrator Alexandra Dunn. The agency plans to complete 10 chemical risk evaluations by no later than June 22, 2020 and says it will submit four of the remaining six evaluations for public comment by the end of 2019.
