Officials urge Congress to reauthorize CFATS

The Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards program should be reauthorized by Congress beyond its 2020 expiration as a way to keep facilities and Americans safe, said David Wulf of the Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday at a congressional hearing. CFATS reauthorization would give "much-needed stability," said Scott Whelchel of Dow.
