The Environmental Protection Agency is reportedly planning to boost the federal mandate for biofuels from 19.92 billion gallons this year to 20.04 billion gallons next year, consisting of 15 billion gallons of conventional biofuels and 5.04 billion gallons of advanced biofuels. Other government agencies are now reviewing the proposal, EPA spokesman Michael Abboud said.
