US crude production climbed by 215,000 barrels per day to a fresh record of 10.47 million barrels per day in March, according to the Energy Information Administration. The growth was driven by a 4% increase in output from Texas to nearly 4.2 million barrels per day, the highest level according to records dating back to 2005.
