Charlotte, N.C.-based Coca-Cola Consolidated, has produced an estimated 10 million test tubes that have been used in COVID-19 test kits. The tubes, similar to the plastic preform that is used to make its glass bottles, were originally conceived for a testing lab in Tennessee that was in need of tubes.
