USAID kicks off $35M fund to help Circulate Capital tackle waste

The US Agency for International Development has launched a $35 million fund to help finance and advance Circulate Capital's goal of reducing plastic pollution in Asia, with at least 50% of the total earmarked for Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Industry is also doing its part via the $1 billion Alliance to End Plastic Waste, said Procter & Gamble's Steve Sikra during the fund's launch.
