Trump's deregulatory agenda hits shutdown-related delays

The Trump administration's plans to roll back the Clean Power Plan, Waters of the US rule and other Obama-era regulations are encountering delayed hearings and other postponements due to the ongoing partial government shutdown. "There's no doubt that keeping the government shut down for too much longer certainly puts at risk some of the things that they're trying to do," says Bracewell partner Jeff Holmstead.
