Iowa State works on nanovaccine nasal spray for COVID-19

The Nanovaccine Institute at Iowa State University is developing a COVID-19 nanovaccine nasal spray that would be given in one dose and require no refrigeration. The vaccine, which could be 18 months away from production, involves the use of viral proteins and nanoparticles made from biodegradable polymers.
