Mura Technology is building a chemical plant in northeastern England that will turn plastic waste into oil and gas for plastic products. The plant, scheduled to begin operating next year, aims to process up to 80,000 metric tons of plastic waste each year using a technology that breaks down plastic with steam, the company says.
