The Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention will reorganize this month to better respond to mandates laid out by the reformed Toxic Substances Control Act and handle other responsibilities, insiders say. The reorganized pollution division will feature several branches, each dedicated to different aspects of TSCA implementation, such as conducting risk assessments for new chemicals.
