Chemical majors focused on increasing plastics circularity

Eastman Chemical, BASF, Dow Chemical and NOVA Chemicals are a few of the major chemical companies innovating to find new end-of-life solutions for post-consumer resins. Eastman is using polyester renewal technology to produce a new copolyester made from 50% recycled content, while BASF has finished a life-cycle analysis showing the environmental benefits of its pyrolysis process known as ChemCycling.
