A tiny device developed by KitoTech Medical in Seattle closes wounds -- and heals faster with better cosmetic results -- using microstaples instead of sutures or traditional staples. It consists of an adhesive strip connecting two arrays of the microstaples for opposite sides of the wound, and it reduces the chance of infection compared with normal suturing.
